So with two big scores of 6's for Lindsey and Karen (boy does her Dad owe her big time for that one) the Wingate reaches the end of its first round, with literally everything to play for. I cannot recall the league having been that tight.
Leading the way on five points are the recipients of the 6's are Dave and Lindsey, they are also both on 15 ends won and 13 lost, so it falls to shots up to separate them, so Team Munro Snr leads Team McConnell by 2 shots up.
Next, one point behind on two wins and two losses each come Willie and Sandy, both also on 14 ends won and lost, so again it comes down to shots up. This time Team Kerr Snr has an 8 point advantage over Team Sandy.
No-one is yet clear of Team Logan who are poised to attack from behind and are still well capable of lifting the crown at the end of the year.
