.... and you thought it was all over.

Just before Murrayfield shuts down for its summer upgrades, it was brought to our attention that we hadn't played our RCCC District Medal game so....
Yesterday John Good, Ian Donald, Graeme Maguire and David Wyllie took on our old Balyarrow Friends Strathendrick.  I am pleased to say that we came away with a convincing 13 - 1 victory.

Congratulations everyone.

Don't forget the AGM on Sun 14th April.

Rennie.

The Boss
We finally have a winner which given the dinner/prize giving is only a few days away is giving our engravers a bit of a headache.  After a superb late run Team Pate nearly got there but at the third attempt to get across the line Team McConnell finally found a winning tactic..... give the skip a night off !!
Lindsey putting
her foot down.

In the absence of Lindsey her team was headed by Callum Harvey jnr, Karen Munro, Douglas Pate and the star of the evening Becca Elder.  They went on to comprehensively beat the other 'Young' team and take the Rennie Quaich.  So CONGRATULATIONS to Lindsey McConnell and her team who have led the championship from the first night.
With little brother Sandy having taken the Wingate it was a great season for family Nicoll and the drinks will be on them at the Dinner on Friday.
