Congratulations to Andy McDiarmid and his team of Simon Kesley, John Good and Drew Bain who clung on to victory. The championship went down to the last stone with James Logan narrowly failing to make a very wide angled promotion, resulting in a peeled game against James Pate. This allowed Andy McDiarmid to secure the championship and get his name on the trophy for the first time.
