Wingate is Go

 Season 24/25 is underway.

The first Wingate game saw one team missing its titular skip but to make up for that there were 5 other skips/former skips on ice and one team being led by someone who usually prefers to lead (It was explained as a 'tactical issue' !).The game itself was a cagey affair  with Andy Aberdein taking the 'man of the match' award for some excellent shots against, at times, significant pressure.

The final score of 7 - 7 seemed a fair result and bodes well for the upcoming season.
